Hello! I'm Smaran

My name is Smaran, and I am currently a junior (11th grade) at Cupertino High School. I created this website to help guide and support all incoming players, especially newcomers who may feel overwhelmed or unsure about how to get started with badminton at Tino.

I know exactly how nerve-wracking it can be to step into a gym filled with experienced players. That's why I built this resource hub—to provide important information about the season and to help make the transition from uncertainty to confidence a little easier. My goal is to make the badminton program feel more approachable, inclusive, and clear—whether you're a returning player or picking up a racket for the first time.

This site reflects my effort to make a difference for future team members. From tryout prep and season schedules to contact information and personal stories, I've spent time outside of practice making sure the content here is useful, clean, and easy to follow.

Badminton has played a big role in shaping who I am—from building discipline and responsibility to helping me grow my confidence. Creating this site gave me a chance to combine my interest in design and development with a sport I genuinely enjoy.
